Dear Steve, Dana and Hunter

Alex was a friend of my daughter Jenna McIlveen. He was at my home on several occasions and I wanted to tell you what a great friend he was to my daughter and what a great son you raised. I would always know when Alex was coming because I could hear his car stereo long before I could see him pulling into the driveway. Hunter, Jenna wanted me to mention that you always brought a smile to your brothers face.

You are all in our prayers. Alex will truly be missed.

I still do not believe this is true as I sit here and think about how just recently I crossed paths with Alex on the way to class...it just doesn't seem real.

Alex, You are a wonderful person. You are a vibrant spirit, that brought a lot of laughter and fun into a lot of people's lives, and I hope you know that. We may not have been friends, but it was just nice to see your familiar face running around campus with Aaron, and say hey, there's Doyle again!.. even if you did remember me as "jumpin jacks!"

You touched the lives of many people Alex. You are a great person, friend, son, and brother. Keep watch over all of those that love you and hold your spirit within them. Take special care of Hunter. He loves you more than you'll ever know. Remember the good times and accomplishments you have made, there are many.

Rest in Peace Alex, see you on the other side

i would very much like to remember your life. Even though i didn't know you too well, this has made such an impact on my life. i read others away messages, and posts on your walls with writings of nothing but love for you and how they will all miss you so much. You were an extremely prominent figure to all those close to you and they love you unconditionally. We all have been impacted by this unfortunate event, but everyone knows they will see you again once it is their time. Please look down on your friends and family, they need to know you are here with them now, more than ever.

I would have been honored to be considered a friend to you.

Have peace now and rest easy.

-Victoria
