Robert Nebiker Obituary
He graduated from Firestone High School in 1984 where he was a competitive swimmer and attended Ohio State University. Rob had a diverse career in the technology field, most notably as Director of Network Services for Telxon in Akron and as Director of IT for Bottomline Technologies of Portsmouth. He has been published in Network World Magazine and holds several patents for multimedia communication standards and processes.
Throughout his life Rob enjoyed traveling and he would say his favorite place to be was on an airplane, preferably in first class with a cocktail in his hand. Rob was a dear friend and colleague and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his cat Loki and his closest friends, who knew him the best.
SERVICES: A celebration of his life will be held from 4-8 p.m., on Friday, March 24, 2017, at Rudi's Market Square in Portsmouth. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to youcaring.com/nebiker.

Wow....I just heard this tonight and to say the least my friend, I am stunned. Way too young for a man with so much talent. From the days at Basic computer to the video games at Balauns.....to you being in my wedding nearly 28 years ago.....brother I will miss you.

God bless you Robert. We shared many fun times back in the Basicomputer days. I not only knew you then as a coworker, but also as a good friend. Although career paths and geography separated us I've always thought of you and spoke of you fondly and I will continue to.
