Susan O'Brien Obituary
Born in Newburyport, Mass., on Sept. 13, 1952, she was the daughter of the late William and Susan (Evans) Mulvey Sr. She was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and a resident of Portsmouth, N.H., for most of her life.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday at the Farrell Funeral Home, 684 State St., Portsmouth. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, 98 Summer St., Portsmouth. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Museum of Portsmouth, 280 Marcy St., Portsmouth, NH 03801.

So sorry for your loss. Susan was a great person. She always made us feel like part of the family. Very nice I had the opportunity to meet her and her wonderful family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Susan, you were a very special friend to us. You were also a warrior who fought your cancer for so many years and so hard, much more than many of us could ever have done. You did all this and lead your life with such class and dignity. You are a inspiration to us all. You brightened our lives and others with your smile, caring ways and grace.
Your concern for others always showed even when you were not feeling your best. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
You have left us Susan with one overwhelming question, "why does it seem, God always seems to take the 'special' ones so early?" My answer, he must of been short a 'Angel'.
