Allan Lawson Obituary

Allan Lawson

Allan Lawson-father, son, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend-passed away on Wednesday, April 15 at the age of 86 in Seattle. Allan was a graduate of Garfield High School (1946) and the University of Washington. Allan was a pharmacist, but most important to him was the time spent with his wife Rita of 64 years and daughters/husbands-Nance (Richard), Terrie (Tom), Debi (Jim), and Stacy (Steve), 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was a lifetime member of Bikur Cholim Machzikay Hadath and for the last 16 years spent Sabbath mornings at Congregation Emmanuel. Allan was a longtime skier, sailor, and bicycle rider. His funeral will be at Bikur Cholim Cemetery at 12 noon on Friday, 1340 N. 115th Street. Donations may be made in his memory to the Jewish Family Service Food Bank 1601 16th Avenue Seattle, 98122 or Seattle Chapter of the National MS Society 192 Nickerson St #100, Seattle, WA 98109.

I was surprised and sad reading of Allan's death. He was so much fun all those years when we were in aerobics classes together. My sincerest condolences, Rita, and to all your family.
