January 26, 1928-November 7, 2014
At Bob's request, after his passing at The Hospice in Denver, CO, a private family ceremony was held with plans for a gathering in the Northwest. Please join his children, Melissa, Pete, Sam and Drake and relatives from out of state for a gathering of remembrance and humorous goodbyes. To be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 2pm at the North Bellevue Community Center, Banquet Room, 4063 148th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA.

Bob, in case your're listening, I frequently think about the things we talked about or did together, i.e. Pecos BBQ, sampling a good single malt scotch, talking football, camping, just hanging out. Whenever I think of you a BIG smile shows on my face. I miss you dear buddy. Ron

Bob, this message is quite late as I didn't know you had passed. You were my dear friend for many years. We shared a fondness for football, training business leaders, sharing funny stories over single malt scotch, camping, eating Pecos BBQ, and endless other things. I shall miss you my friend. Family and friends were very important to you and there will always be a warm place in my heart for our friendship. Best, Dr. Ron Dohr

To Bob's family- Bob was instrumental (teacher/mentor) when I first started football officiating in 1977. He worked many games with me and the rest of the rookies in our first few years (teaching/guiding) and helped me attain a personal goal of becoming a Pac-10/12 football official for 20 years. Thank you, Bob.

Coach Bob Ewbank as I knew him, gave me one of the greatest gifts of my life time. As a fourteen year old at Wegdewood Gil Dobie football, the coach in his own time, made me into a passing QB. After leading Seattles Metro league in passing stats at Ingraham H.S. I played for Western Washington University, and after leaving there was offered the job as quarterback coach for a Hall of Fame high school coach in Seattle. None of this fine experience would have remotely occurred without the selfless and generous time devoted by the coach. I sincerely regret not having expressed that to coach Ewbank as an adult. The coach, in my opinion was a master of quarterback mechanics. No where did I go where I was exposed to better mentoring. I feel very fortunate.------Greg Forrest---Scottsdale, Arizona 425-761-1827

I was a neighbor in Wedgwood many years ago. I remember the Ewbanks family up the street as a big, friendly family. My parents owned Wedgwood Pharmacy. Both my parents and oldest brother Lanny have passed away. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Corinne Dumas (Gagnon)
