I met Brian when he came to work at JC Wright and then a short time later figured out that I had known his parents for years through the VFW. I left JC Wright soon after that but remember Brian fondly. Words can not convey my sadness at the loss the family is feeling at this time. My deepest sympathies to you all.

It saddens my heart to know that Brian has passed. I have fond memories of Brian from years ago. My heart and well wishes go out to his family and all the lives he's touched. God bless (Michelle Shinners)

Brian and I worked together at JC Wright for the eight years that I've been here. This quote from Shawshank Redemption doesn't exactly apply because it was in reference to Andy being locked in jail, but I can't really find the words myself...
"I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up DOES rejoice. Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend."
I am glad my friend has found a better place, but I am truely saddened that he's gone.

I knew Brian well, back in the old days at RHS. We were on some baseball teams together and were generally good friends from middle school on. Although I have not seen Brian since graduation, I have fond memories of our friendship. This news is most unwelcome, and fills me with sadness. Knowing Brians character, I am sure that he led a fulfilling life.
