I will truly miss my Uncle "Eddie". He was always a lot of fun. He always told me I was his favorite niece. His memory of people, dates, events was just a marvelous thing to listen to. He is now with his beloved Hille and I imagine they are raising the roof where they are........I will always cherish my memories of them. Ed and Hille brought the Japanese friends to our ranch and they stayed over that night. It was so much fun and we all howled at the full moon which rose bright and beautiful in the south sky. Bless you both with all my love.

Many years ago, I held a party for Seattle Mountain Rescue at the Rainier Brewery. The theme was "Eddie Boltons wake" because we thought it would be a good joke on him. Eddie found out about it and arranged his own pall bearers and a little ceremony. While being carried in on a plank of plywood, the sheet covering him began to rustle and he popped out with a female member of SMR who was not his wife. Everyone in the crowd was in stitches including Hille, who of course, was part of the gag. Eddie did have a good sense of humor.

Dear Mary and Jerry and family,
You had told me about Ed's passing a few weeks ago and I don't think I sent a card as I intended to. So here you are. Seeing Ed's picture in the paper this morning brought back so many memories of the good old days I spent with Boulton Insulation. With the two of you and your first 2 children, your Mom, Dad and brother Ed. Not to forget Jerry's brother whose name escapes me at the moment. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love,
Margaret
