Jean Marie McLAUGHLIN Beloved Jean Marie McLaughlin, of Mercer Island, Washington, went to be with the Lord Sunday May 7th, 2006. She was born November 23, 1923 in Portland, Oregon. Jean and her loving husband, Robert G. McLaughlin would have celebrated their 63rd Wedding Anniversary this September. She is also survived by her daughter, Marian Gentry of Lake Oswego, Oregon, her son, Robert McLaughlin and wife, Laurie of Auburn, Washington, her four Granddaughters, and two Great grandchildren. Jean's example of loyalty and strength mark her life. Her legacy is the sacrificial love and determination she demonstrated to us all day after day. Her gallant fight with health issues these last few years was inspirational to all that knew her and experienced her bravery and lack of self pity. She was the most loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother and friend anyone could ask for. All who knew her were blessed and will miss her greatly. Nothing would honor Jean more than to make a donation to OHSU Cancer Institute- 3181 SW Sam Jackson Park Road- CR 145, Portland, Oregon 97239-3098.
