Peace and Prayers to the Dickerson family on their loss of Josh. I read all the articles about him for the past few years and felt happy that he could play the game he loved so much. How difficult it must have been for him to hear he only had "months" to live. At any age, that would be harsh. At 17, when most teens feel immortal, it must have been heartbreaking for him. He chose to make the most of the time he had left, playing and participating and supporting his team at O'Dea. God bless all of you, and know that Josh's goodness will stay with you and comfort you. The loss is major but it seems as if he lived a good life in the short time he was here. May your memories comfort you as best they can.

Josh will be so missed. He was so devoted to his family and friends - and his love for baseball. He is now playing with the major league team. Remember the many memories - they will carry you through the grief you feel today. Josh will never be forgotten. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
