Uncle Victor put a detailed ancestry of our Matous family on Ancestry.com. Subscribe to it and you'll be amazed all you can learn about our Matous family. He gathered the information when he worked for Boeing inAnkara, Turkey. He took vacations to Czechoslovakia and discovered this information.

Yup. I still miss him. I always enjoyed Victor's laughter and wisdom. Thank you, Jesus, for giving me Uncle Vic.

To all of Victor's children and grandchildren, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so thankful that my husband, Bob, encouraged me to reconnect with Uncle Victor when we were in Seattle in 2007. I remembered him fondly from childhood and now I can also remember him as the wonderful man who welcomed us so graciously into his home after 50 some years. He was the last of his great generation. I bet they're all sitting around drinking coffee and eating kolaches! Cousins, we should make a better effort to come together and carry on their legacy. God Bless you all. Love, Cousin Joan

Uncle Victor was a great, all around guy, devoted family man and strong in his Catholic faith. He drew his faith in Christ from his devout parents, Anna and John Matous.
When I got the news that Victor was failing, I could see my late father, victor's brother, Frank smiling widely, waiting to welcome his brother Victor into heaven. Those who wish to see Victor again need to take faith in Christ seriously, as he did. Pass the faith down from generation to generation. We love you, cousins.
