Graveside services for Joyce E. Hopson, 83, of Muldrow, are being held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, at Cookson Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hopson was born on March 29, 1940, in Meeker to Andrew Wheeler and Dorothy (Terry) Wheeler. She died on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, in Muldrow.
She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Muldrow.
She married Vernon Hopson on Nov. 2, 1957, in Oklahoma City.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon of the home; two daughters, Teresa Hopson and Dana Swanson both of Muldrow; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Bruce Wheeler.
Viewing is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Sallisaw.
