It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Josephine Micu, age 67 of San Francisco, California. Josephine passed away from natural causes peacefully at Kaiser Permanente Hospital on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Josephine was born on August 8, 1954, in Paniqui, Tarlac, Philippines and was the eighth eldest, of twelve children.
She is survived by her husband Rolando and daughter Sheena of San Francisco, California; and her siblings Yolanda (Marciano Moya deceased) of Winnipeg, Manitoba; Merlinda (Raymond Anderson deceased) of Vancouver, British Columbia; Gener Elepano (Normita) of Vancouver, British Columbia, Reolito (Lunida deceased /Celsa) of Calgary, Alberta; Violeta (Louisito Silverio) of Vancouver, British Columbia; Cristina (Raymundo Linao) of Winnipeg, Manitoba; Frederick (Wilma) of Calgary, Alberta; Gemma (Cesar Rayat) of Vancouver, British Columbia; along with numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
She is predeceased by her grandparents Fabian Javier and Fausta Austria; her parents Fernando and Teodora Elepano; and her siblings Lydia (Honorio Reyes), Romeo and Antonio.
A viewing celebrating Josephine's life will be held at Olivet Chapel located at 1651 Hillside, Colma, California on Friday, January 28th, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. PST, followed by the burial on Saturday, January 29th at 9:00 a.m. PST.
