Dear Uncle & Cuz:
No words can express the sorrow and tears I have for the loss of Auntie Alice and how I was unable to be there. We realize that the goal in life is to create something that will live forever. Auntie had done just that; whether it was her warm embrace, her loving smile, or the glimmer of hope that shined bright in her eyes. The countless memories that Auntie provided will live in all of us forever.

Alice, you are missed and loved. I feel so privileged to have seen you walking down the beach to those waiting for you. We may have lived miles away from you, but you were always close in my heart. Take care, you are a very special and lovely lady!
Wyman and Jenny, please know our prayers are with you in your time of sadness. Know my Mom, Auntie Elsie, Uncle Ed and the others have made room at their table and welcomed Alice. And know there is always room in our hearts for you two.
Love,
Sarah, Paul, and Meghann

Alice: Although, living in opposite sides of the BA did not offer us many chances to get together, it never stopped us from being able to pick up where we left off the last time we chatted. I appreciated all your support, encouragement and wisdom. You were a woman of few words, but when you did speak, it was evident that you had given it alot of thought and consideration. I never knew you to say an unkind word, even when you were angry, disappointed or hurt....you just stated the facts. (We should all remember, if you don't have nothing nice to say...don't say it)...When you found out in 08 about the cancer, you never asked "why me", but full advantage of "what you could control" and managed your treatments and decisions accordingly. You did it because of your love for your family. I was fortunate to have you in my life for 44 years. I know we agreed, it's not ending. We now have a very special angel standing watch. I've felt your presence and know you've graduated to a new life..., visiting with all of your family, and our shared loved ones. Don't worry about J, W, and M . We will take care of them. Rest in peace, God is with you always...forever.... in our hearts....Love Gail...BTW, say hi to my dad, grandma/grandpa, Uncle Ed, Auntie Elsie, Carson, Auntie Mary and the many others there with you.
