After 90 years of a life well lived, Allan R. Watson, Jr. died on 2/2/23. Born to Dr. Allan R. Watson, Sr. and Lois Stone Watson, Allan graduated from Eureka High School where he participated in multiple sports, excelling in track. He attended USC before enlisting in the US Marine Corps, serving in Korea during the conflict. Allan succeeded as an investment banker in S.F. for over 20 years, becoming a gentleman farmer of Wat-Zin Vineyards after retiring. Allan and his wife, Patricia, also enjoyed traveling the world via cruise ship. Allan leaves behind Patricia, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage, and five children: Skip (Trish), Laura, Matt (Jaime), Terry (Jon), and Patrick as well as eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
