Allen Feeney Obituary
Allen was the second of twins born on April 2, 1963 to his parents, Margaret and James Feeney (deceased). His better half and twin brother, Jim, was and always will be his best friend. Allen will also be missed by his other siblings, John (Lynn), Patrick (Mary) and Lena as well as our dear family friend, Robert Friederang.
Allen was a devoted and loving uncle to Steven Patton, Kayleen, Michelle, Alycia, Patrick, Elizabeth, Jamie, Conor, Margaret and Alainnah Feeney, and proud Godfather of Kayleen, Alainnah, Jessica Mangual and Shivonne Hepa.
Allen's premature passing will be deeply felt by all who knew him including his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was 'Semper Fidelis', always faithful to his family and friends.
Allen was a proud native San Franciscan, a graduate of Saint Emydius and attended Riordan and McAteer High Schools. He was a lifelong Giants and 49er fan in addition to his love of NASCAR and his Harley.
The family extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Rapp and Nurse Judy of the Potrero Hill Health Center for everything they did for Allen.
There will be a celebration of Allen's life on Friday, February 15, 2013 beginning with a funeral mass at Saint Emydius Church at 10am followed by a reception at the United Irish Cultural Center.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Saint Emydius Church or just doing something nice for someone.

Heard of Allen passing away the other day, memories of playing basketball with Feeney brothers and mutual friend Edward Badillo and early morning paper deliveries back in 1977 on opposite sides of the Monterey Wall. God Bless

Dear Feeney family,
My condolences on the passing of our dear friend Al. We worked together at St. Emydius School for my Uncle Ben Orengo. I also remember him at my Uncle's variety store on Ocean Ave, and he was always willing to jump in & help, even though my uncle wasn't easy to get along with - - he did. Many Giants games at Candlestick - - what fun!

Margaret,Robert,John,Jimmy,Pat,Lena & all the kids - Words are hard to find when having to say goodbye! I always enjoyed Big Al - he had a knack for bringing a smile to my face even in the saddest of times and in the bluest of moods. Many an occasion I was lucky enough to have him share some crazy story with such animation. He truly was one hell of a guy ! We can find peace knowing that God called him home because his job here was finished. He completed his tasks and will now spend eternity in peace. He can dance forever with the Angels. We all know how he liked to dance. May God Bless Al and May Big Al watch over the rest of us until we all meet again !! Here's to you big guy !!!!!!

Allen will be missed by us all. I will never forget our days at St. Emydius. Many of our days outside of school hours were spent playing tackle football up at Aptos (no pads!!!)with him and his broters John and Jimmy. The life lessons that our extended SE family taught us will always be a part of us. We will keep the entire Feeney family in our prayers. My condolences.
