Ciucci Family,
I had the pleasure of meeting your beautiful daughter one Christmas. She was so eagerly packing up toys for Operation Santa Claus. I was with my daughter..she was 4 months of age ,when Angelina came over to ask if she may hold her for me while i take a break. She must have noticed that i was in need of one....i was trying my best not to appear uncomfortable. I was exhausted and still getting used to being a new mommy (but your daughter was not too busy to make time for my needs). I had just met her that day....she insisted on helping me.....it made me smile at her obvious kindness and her sincere desire to be of assistance. A rarity in todays world. She made remarks on my daughters beauty and was tickled pink when i told her that her middle name was Angelina. I never forgot how she made my daughter laugh, smile and the time taken to make us feel welcomed at our first Daly City Christmas event. My daughter was blessed to be held by an angel. I never forgot that day and will continue to remember how much i was touched by a young womans unselfish act. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My daughter, Skyler Angelina Doyle, will be pleased to know that her middle name is very special! God Bless

To the Ciucci Family-
I was not as fortunate as the rest of these people to have known Angelina. But growing up with you, Don, I'm sure she was a firecracker. From the picture, I can see that she had your smile and same twinkle in her eye. I am amazed at how many people's lives she touched...take comfort in knowing that we share your sorrow.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Angelina. I went to Vallemar with Angelina and later had the pleasure of being in a speech/communications class at SFSU with her. She was a bright, talented, compassionate person. She always treated everyone with respect and equality and was accepting of other people's differences. I wish you well on your journey through Heaven, Angelina. May God be with all who loved you during this difficult time.

Chief Ciucci, family and Dan,
Angelina will surely be missed by all the guys at Station 81. She loved working here in Brisbane and we loved having her. Her smile was contagious and she built some strong bonds at the station, the city and with the public. She certainly provided a breath of fresh air. Angelina was a gifted and a natural leader. She had the ability and talent to rise in the organization and most of us knew she would likely follow her fathers lead. We are all so pround to have known and worked with such a shining star. We are sorry for you loss.

Angelina's passing not only took her family by surprise, but baffled doctors and shocked the community she called home as well as her close friends. Reading Angelina's death notice in the San Francisco Chronicle last Saturday was heartbreaking and surprising, especially when given that the last time I spoke to her she was in perfect health, but such is the reality of death and its' unforeseen timing.
I grew up with Angelina, attending elementary school with her, hanging out with her after school on some days, and even in our later years, keeping in contact with one another giving updates on each others lives. I remember the days in kindergarten when she would come over and we would run around the house and have a good time like kids do. You couldn't ask for a better friend. Her smile was contagious, her laugh infectious, her generosity and personality one of a kind.
Angelina always went out of her way to make those around her happy, even if they were a complete stranger. She worked for the North County Fire Authority as a fire inspection officer and information officer, and when she wasn't working she devoted her time with those less fortunate by being a counselor at a camp for burn victims and teaching the youth about fire prevention.
It's amazing how the generosity and kindness of one's heart could touch so many; attending Angelina's vigil last Sunday was proof of how one person could do just that. The vigil was held at St. Monica's in San Francisco. I was absolutely amazed by the amount of people that had attended. Angelina had touched so many lives, and it was apparent not only by the attendance, but also by the words given during some of her loved ones speeches. There were many stories shared that reminded people of the gentle, devoted, and caring person that Angelina was, but there was one in particular that stood out to me. Angelina was a huge Blue Angels fan. I remember when we were kids how fond she was of them. The story told talked about her time out seeing the Blue Angels live in person, and how astonished she was of them. That day was very special to her because of what they meant and stood for. This speaker then said something that I'll always remember; something that every time I hear of the Blue Angels I will think of Angelina. The same day Angelina passed away was the same day the Blue Angels announced that they would be flying a missing man formation for the remainder of the year. While there is speculation as to why this is, the speaker said that he believed that the true reason for this formation was so that Angelina could fly along side of them while in flight to the heavens. It was a quote so powerful and so moving that it touched me, and it's a true testament to how Angelina lived and how she touched everyone around her.
I will never forget Angelina. She was the true definition of what a friend should be and I will always treasure the times and memories we shared in my heart forever. My sympathies go out to her family and her fiance.
While Angelina's work is done on Earth, her work is just beginning in Heaven where she will continue to help those around her, continue to make others laugh, and continue to be the "Angel" she was here on Earth. God Bless!

Ciucci family,
My heart goes out to you with the passing of Angelina. Angelina was a very influential person in my life,, and I am proud to have been a part of her life. Angelina was not only a coach, but a close friend and mentor. Because of Angelina's coaching I was able to move on and compete at the collegiate level. Angelina made me fall in love with the Discus; her enthusiam and love of the sport was contagious, and I looked forward to seeing her everyday. Angelina is really going to be missed by all of the people she has touched; even if in the smallest way. I loved her like the big sister I never had, and will miss her a lot. I am truly sorry for your loss.

To the Ciucci Family-
Angie was my shot-put coach when I was Mercy Burlingame High School. I reached my goal (20 feet) because of her! Just last year we re-connected as we both worked in Brisbane. She worked for the fire department, and I worked for Brisbane Parks and Recreation. She was a big sister to me. The two things that I will never forget but it was always contagious was her smile and her laugh! I know she will be your "guardian angel" and watching over each and everyone of you. I know she loved each and everyone of you. She was such a wonderful person. I will pray for you all. God Bless.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Ciucci, Matt, Dan,
My heart goes out to you in your time of sorrow. I was deeply saddened to hear of Angelina's passing. I am blessed to have been able to work side by side with her for a few years. I learned so much from Angelina. She's made a big positive impact on me and is one of few people I hold in high regard and think of often. She was always a unique, selfless, and deeply admirable soul, and for that I am saddened that the world lost such a bright light too early. I miss her and regret not keeping in touch more often. My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. I pray you find comfort in knowing that you did everything you possibly could, and that she is no longer in physical pain. You are an awesome family. Your Angel is safe in heaven.

To the Ciucci family,
I returned from out of state to learn of your tragic loss. When we lose one of our own either in the line of duty or not, we in the fire service are all diminished. Angelina's time with you ended all too soon, but you can take great pride in her many achievements in life. On behalf of the members of Presidio of San Francisco Fire Department, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. I know that she is now in Heaven with God and the Angels, yet this knowledge does not diminish your grief and loss. With abiding respect,

Dear Angelina,
I met you while you were doing an inspection on my warehouse in Brisbane. Actually, I think about three times.
We talked about your wonderful experiences at Lake Tahoe, and also about some really expensive boat that sank during high winds and then crashed on its way home.
I typically don't like authority figures, but you were different. I, in the short time I knew you, was knocked off my feet. You truly are a little angel. I told you in April or May that I would include you in my prayers and I still will.
In the short time you were here, I know you must have touched so many hearts. You will live on in our memories forever.
As I told you, my MOM died of pancreatic cancer. Don't ask why, just carry on. We will too.
27 is far too young, but I know you are in a better place. I will see you again and this time not in my way too full warehouse. Give your family the strength they need to carry on.
God bless you and those that care about you. See you again.
Respectfully yours,
Rick Bastian

I enjoyed working with you Angelina. It was nice to always see around the firehouse. You'll be missed, but your spirit will live on in our hearts & minds. Give a good word in for me. Enjoy your wonderful Journey.

Angelina, your smile and laughter will be truly missed. Your kindness and acceptance of all people good or bad was to be admired. I will miss seeing you at family functions and in Tahoe.
The world has lost a beautiful person inside and out.
Rest in peace Angelina.
