Annabelle Metzel Obituary

Annabelle Lee Metzel

Annabelle Lee Metzel passed away peacefully at her Sonoma home among family and friends on January 2, 2018. Annabelle was a true San Franciscan who was also very proud of her Montana heritage. She later moved to her beloved Sonoma where she spent the last 25 years enjoying great friends, food and wine and being an active participant in the community.

Annabelle was married to Claude Muzio and had three sons, Steve, Tim, and John Muzio. She is survived by son Tim, daughter-in-law Cindy, grandaughter Madeleine and sister-in-law Santina Kapkin, as well as several dear extended family members including 'the kids' who 'stuck with me through thick and thin' and 'Jewels' her cat.

Annabelle was a bon vivant to the core, a talented artist, a genuine, loving person and always young at heart. She loved her Agua Caliente neighborhood and home warmly decorated with her crafts and mementos from family and travels. She was also an avid gardener and jazz music lover, like her granddaughter.

There will be a private celebration of life for Annabelle. In lieu of flowers, please donate to favorite charities in your community.
