Dear Maureen and Ken,
Your mom was a force of nature! So strong and such a delight to be with. I so enjoyed her smile, her graciousness, her faithfulness, her thoughtfulness of me and Marilyn and you too, Maureen! How she cared for you. And how she stayed in life, living her life fully, even in her quiet moments. She had a fulness of being, an acceptance of life on its own terms, even as she lived with wishes that could not be fulfilled, like returning to China. I'm so thankful to have known her, and the members of her extended familly along the way. May the peace of Christ that dwelt in her life also dwell within you and your loved ones. ~Pastor John

Dear Maureen & Kenneth,
Had fond memories of our families going to Golden Park for picnics at Children's playground and riding the merry-go-round, numerous July 4th weekend to Santa Cruz to see the firewoks. Hop GOO alway made sure we would also see "the last supper" diarama at this well-known church.
Her many wise advice and examples on living a well and healthy Chinese food lifestyle was invaluable to me. Her baby-sitting of me when I was an infant (taking me on walks in my stroller) was much appreciated by my parents. My Mom & Dad (Uncle Bill) loved Hop Goo and Uncle Johnnie as the family's sister and brother-in-law. and I'm sure he was her favorite Chin family relative. Her success as a businesswomen was admirable and should be acknowledged.
Love,
Cousin Katy
