Dearest Ynostroza Family,
My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with you.
Life's additional blessings came my way at 4 years of age with an introduction to the Ynostroza family. Carmen had a playmate for me in her little sister. Juanita quickly became my new best friend and I was warmly welcomed into the loving embrace of the Ynostroza household. My home away from home!
Mr and Mrs Ynostroza became so much more than just neighbors, they were an additional pair of loving grandparents, so at 12 yrs old their formal titles had to go. It wouldn't have been appropriate to address them by their first names so I affectionately nicknamed them Handsome and Sexy! Carmen set the rules, Chris enforced them and when Handsome(Carne) came home from work Juanita, the household pets and I followed him from the garden to garage to the kitchen and he'd instruct us without saying a word, his mannerisms were always so humble and he was filled with a special wisdom!! I learned so much! We'd all talk, laugh, listen to music and eat great homemade Mexican food! Whenever Juana and I were out of sight he'd send out the famous whistle and we'd come running. Children, animals and parents were all in love with Handsome(Carne)! As an adult Handsome(Carne) and I have had many fascinating conversations and I've been very fortunate to hear his life stories of childhood, the war and military, his job, sports, music, God, country and family!
Our families have
been so blessed to have shared much over the years!

I am forever grateful God brought Handsome(Carne) and Sexy(Mary) into my life!
I will always miss them, forever cherish the memories and I will always love them!!
Thank you for sharing them with my family and I!
God bless you all.
