Charles Frederick Volk Jr. was born on June 29th, 1959 in Denver, CO and passed on Wednesday October 11th, 2023 in Santa Cruz CA. A lifelong San Franciscan, Charles attended Town School and graduated from Menlo College with a degree in business. Charles was an avid reader and history student, and could always be counted on for his quick wit and charisma. His smile and penchant for conversation will be deeply missed. Charles was a wonderful skier, cyclist, tennis player and beach enthusiast- activities which he enjoyed most in his beloved Aptos. He is preceded in death by his son Olivier Volk, and cousin John Raggio. He leaves behind his daughter, Christiane Volk, mother Rosemarie Wagner, and siblings Peter Rosekrans, John Rosekrans, and Caroline Dyer, in addition to many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Love you and miss you always Papa.
