David O'Connor Obituary
Born in San Francisco on November 15, 1951, David attended St. Gabriel's (class of '65) and graduated from Riordan High School (class of '69). He was proud to be one of the first Master Sommeliers in the US and has always been a loyal SF Giants and 49ers fan.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Brendan's Church. 29 Rockaway Ave., SF at 1:00pm on Friday, October 14, 2016, which would have been David and Gail's 44th Wedding Anniversary.
We would like to give our thanks to the heroic efforts of the San Francisco Fire Department and Paramedics, SF General Hospital's 5R ICU unit doctors and nurses, St. Brendan's Church, family and friends who have shown an outpouring of love and sympathy during our time of need.

Dear Gail, Tim and Gillian,
I was so saddened to hear about David's death.
I have so many happy memories of dinners at Victor's when I was a junior sales manager at the St. Francis. He taught me so much about food and wine, and was an integral part of the sales effort - our best closer.
I will always remember his favorite line as he recommended a favorite wine and shared stories about wineries and winemakers - "Interesting make interesting wines."
I will always remember him. My condolences to you and your family.
