As we are nearing that time of year again, I often think of Doug ((will always be Toad to me, as that´s the name he gave me when I met him in 1997.)
I still so very much miss that laugh of his, and the wonderful friendship we had.

I was Doug's stager for the last 7 years, and I always appreciated his wit and charm, and endless good nature. I can still conjure up his voice whenever he answered the phone. I will miss him greatly.

Douglas Fuller is part of us all.
We made each other better gentleman.
We chopped wood together.
That's special in this world and time.
Douglas had standards.
I respect that.
He had an actual tender heart.
A little boy in a grown up klown with a whip!
I will never forget his laughs, they ring in my ears his voice so distinct.
Douglas changed my life the night he inspired freekBALL to emerge and face the Santas at the greeter, BurningMan 1998.
That man had a way with words.
He lived it. Seriously. Then it was over and watching him own his own death in front of others was one of the most powerful moments for me.

This is our Douglas.
He will NEVER be forgotten and we will tell tales of his adventures and his kindness to our children.

He helped me thru the twists and turns of buying my first house and was always so patient and supportive. I loved his creative spirit and bon Vivant ways. His Xmas mix was always a treat, and this year's , though bittersweet, was spectacular. He'll be so missed and the world is less interesting without him. I'm glad I got to spend some time with him. Sincere condolences to Candace, Clara and all his family and friends.

Doug was a great man. He helped us find our dream house and was always a gracious host at the clown bar. Such a wonderful father to Clara Mae, and husband to Candace. May his memory be a blessing.

It was a pleasure to know Doug meeting him the first time we visited our son Tim in SF in 2005 or thereabouts and over the years to know of the friendship Tim made with Doug and Candace and how that friendship grew to the place that Doug was one of Tim's bestmen at his wedding September 2016 at Golden Gate Park.. Was happy to again see him at Tim's 50th birthday celebration in October..He will be missed by many for sure and Denny and I are happy to have known him.. Much Love and prayers sent to Candace and Clara at this sad time for them and of course all those who knew Doug Fuller.

As both Doug, and Ouchy you are remembered by the entire Hirsch clan as one class act. Rest in Peace, my good man.

Doug was the embodiment of joy. He helped my husband and I sell our home under difficult circumstances. I will miss dancing with him and hearing him laugh.
