Eric passed away due to complications from a long illness. He was a graduate of San Carlos High School and went on to study computers at the College of San Mateo. His passion for technology led to his work as a Data Center Operator for several financial companies in San Mateo and Los Angeles where lived for many years. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Oh, so sorry to see this. Eric and I sat next to each other in 5th grade. We found out that his father worked for my uncle's furniture store because he would bring foam pieces into class to decorate the tops of his pencils. Once during "music" class, we were listening to the record player of Pop Up My Ladies and we got in the habit of tossing our pencils in the air during the song. Eric's pencil got caught in the light fixture and the foam smoked. Our poor teacher evacuated the room, got up on a chair, and brushed the foam piece from the light. The next morning in class we found that our desks had been emptied of all decorative foam pieces! I send my condolences to his family, and the peace of God which stills every broken heart.

I am so shocked and sad by this sudden loss. Eric had a great sense of humor and had a good heart. He sure loved his family, and his sister, my best friend Andrea, was so special to him. Andrea, you made his life fun and I know he always enjoyed all the places you went together. Even when he was ill and unsteady, you were close by to make him feel grounded and loved. All my love and heartfelt condolences to the entire Goodman tribe. Love, Sue Clark
