Gregory Michael Welsh, age 59, born September 2, 1961 passed away Saturday, August 21st. Proceeding the death of his mother, Sandra Welsh. Passing two weeks before his 60th birthday leaving his 2 children Julien and Thomas, 2 brothers, Michael (Fah) and Chris (Robin), Aunt, Dolores (LeVerne Jones) Welsh and 5 cousins Gina (Bruce) Dezzani, Ken (Janet) Lombardi, Steve (JoJo) Lombardi, Kelly Carolla, and Michelle (Scott) Foster. A San Francisco native, Greg moved to San Bruno at the age of 8 years old immediately making life long friends in his new neighborhood, Pacific Heights. Years following starting in 1971, he would spend a significant amount of his childhood playing baseball on San Bruno's youth expansion team again meeting friends that would last him a lifetime. A local 38 plumber by trade Greg always found time to balance work and family life better than anyone ever knew. He spent the final years of his life surrounded by the people he loved most, going on camping trips, road trips and 49er tailgate parties making the crowds roar with laughter along the way. Although facing many highs and lows in life he passed away happy with his fiancé Julie Hamilton by his side. Loved by many Greg had friends spanning from Maine all the way to Maui and will always be remembered as a kind hearted man who touched so many lives through his giving nature.
