Irene Skover Obituary
Irene was born to Vasili and Frances Zarubin in San Francicso, California. She was the fourth of seven children. Irene passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 92.
Irene leaves behind her loving husband of 71 years, Roy, her children Timothy (Cathy), Gregory, Jeffrey (Colleen), Sandra, Melanie (Tim) and Thomas, grandchildren Nick, Sophie, Corinne, Jenna, Rachel, Daniel, Michelle, and Scott, great grandchildren, Avery, Clarity, Maddison and Ella and many nieces, nephews and in-laws. She is survived by her brother William and sister Nina.
Irene was a woman of faith, strong in her Christian beliefs, and a true prayer warrior. In her early teenage years, Irene attended and became a member of First Covenant Church SF, now known as Dolores Park Church. Irene was a devoted wife, mother, aunt and friend. She attended Commerce High School and City College, SF. Irene was a gourmet cook, an excellent housekeeper and a dedicated follower of fashion.
A Funeral Service will be held at Dolores Park Church, 455 Dolores St., SF, California at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Irene's name to Dolores Park Church Missions Outreach, 65 Dorland Street, San Francisco, CA. 94110

Aunt Irene you are loved and missed. My Mother, Lora Anderson, your oldest sibling who left the earth before you on 14 November 2020, would be want me, as her only child, to express her deep love for you as her sister. Irene was a beautiful lady of faith who we loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is safe in the arms of Jesus. Praying for all her family at this sad time of parting but looking forward to meeting her again in Heaven.
