There is no way I can relate all the wonderful thoughts and feelings that my friendship with Jack evokes.

I came as an unknown to our camp in the Bohemian Grove (Jack called it "out of left field")and our friendship grew strong. He was at the top of the heap in class and a gentleman non pareil. We got to know each other and our respective families, sometimes talking long into the night. For me, many friends, his children and all his loved ones, this is a huge hurt, but he gave us a gift of superb warm memory. I love you Jack.

Here’s to Jack, aka Daddy-O!

Jack had such a joy for life and knew how to have FUN! I intend on keeping that tradition, as well as some others, with the help of his daughters. Not a hard task, they have a lot of Jack in them. There are several things Jack taught me (most of which I can’t share here) about life, people, great wine, good food, and how to play the Gut Bucket. Which by the way I think everyone should learn how to play. He will truly be missed! He sure made the world a better place while he was here. Love you Daddy-O

Jack Elliott was a dear friend and a true inspiration to me in many ways. Jack and I were Campmates together in Wild Oats camp at the Bohemian Grove and we shared a love of the game of golf. He and I chaired the Stocker Cup golf tournament which has evolved into one of the premier amateur events in the Western US. We were inspired, along with Sandy Tatum, to create this wonderful tournament in memory of our dear friend Peter Stocker. Jack spent countless hours recruiting players, soliciting sponsorship money and attending to the details required to ensure that it remains at the pinnacle of amateur invitationals. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was also an incredible inspiration as he fought this most deadly of cancers. His spirit and positive attitude never waivered. Jack, I'm going to miss you buddy!!

Jack was such a wonderful gentleman. My favorite memory is the fact that he would leave political articles and pictures on my desk- photos of Ronald Reagan, articles by Anne Coulter-good conservative propaganda! We will miss him. He was a wonderful leader.
