Sorry to hear of his death. I was a friend of Suzanne's and knew John, of course. I wish I had seen him recently, but I let time get away from me. So pleased to read about his life. Lovely man.

John was a caring and compassionate physician, who also took a special interest in medical students wanting to enter the field of dermatology. I was one of many who benefited greatly from his enthusiastic teaching and encouragement. He also helped me get a crucial clerkship at the University of Chicago in dermatology. He was always generous with his time for anyone in need of help. I will miss him very much.

John was an active and well respected part of the Chicago Dermatological Society Community for many years. I always appreciated his support and encouragement during my career and I am sure he had an impact on the careers of many dermatologists. He will be missed, my condolences to his family.
