Surrounded by his loving wife and daughters, Joe lost his courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
Born Joseph Michael Britton in San Francisco on November 14, 1961, Joe attended Our Lady of Angels and was a member of the Mill High School graduating class of 1980.
Joe was a hardworking and devoted husband and father. He leaves behind his grieving wife, Michelle Baron Britton, and his cherished daughters, Kelly, Shannon, and Bridget Britton. Joe was predeceased by his loving parents, William and Patricia Britton. Joe is survived by his siblings including Julie Kanzaki, (Ken), and Trish Walker, (Curt), and his brothers and sisters inlaw, Michael and Patrice Antosik and Stephen and Barbara Baron. Joe was the fun-loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews, including Kate, Michael, Matt, Megan, Savanah, Melissa, Kevin, Kayla, Amy, Adam and Wyatt.
Joe always loved a good time, and he created countless memories with lifelong friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The family is grateful to the nurses at Mission Hospice for their kind and gentle care.
Visitation will take place Monday, February 6, at Crosby & Gray, 2 Park Road, Burlingame, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, February 7, at 10:00am at Saint Matthew's Catholic Church, 1 Notre Dame Avenue, San Mateo.
