Julio Macias Camacho

Passed away on Thursday April 19, 2012 in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico from complications of Diabetes.He was 78 years old.Services were held in Chapala. He was born in Ameca on April 23,1933. He is survived by his loving wife,Dora Alicia Linarez Pacheco, brother, Juventino Camacho of Pittsburg, sisters, Lucia Fernandez of Concord, Juanita Mitchell of Petaluma, step daughters, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, god daughters and god sons in Canada, Mexico, U.S and Philippines. Preceeding him in death were his sisters, Candelaria, Irene, Josephina, Carmen and brother Alfredo. He was a very generous person to his friends and family.He lived in S.F. most of his life. He started as an apprentice at Phoenix Iron Works. He was an excellent worker and after working 36 years for them he retired as a supervisor in 1988 and moved to Chapala.He struggled for the first 5 years building his new home and adjusting to his new life style. He loved his new life. He is dearly missed by his wife, his family and his friends for his love of life, his sense of humor, his outgoing personality and his generous nature, He truly did it his way. Mass of remembrance will be held at St. Pedro's Catholic Church at 1200 Florida St. in S.F. on April 28.2013 at 10:30 am.
