Junie Babe. It has been years that you have been gone. But not a day goes by that you have been forgotten. I can still hear your laugh. I will always cherish the family get togethers at your home. This year they are missed even more as 2020 has been one lonely year. We love you and always will. ❤

I can still hear your voice over the fence, June. It was always a staple in my life and always gave me a security knowing you were there. I know Carla, Carlo and John are missing you terribly. You were such a larger than life personality. You made a warm space in everyone's heart and it will remain there with our memories of you. All of my love and thanks, Sara

Dearest June, I am so grateful that you were my mother-in-law. You are such an inspiration to me in so many ways-especially in the domestic realm. One of the saddest things for me is that Giancarlo will not have the blessing of knowing you in person. But we will make sure that he knows his Nonni in spirit. Through pictures and stories you will remain a vital part of your grandchildren's (and all of our) lives. We will miss you more than words could ever express, but you will forever be in our hearts. The Heavens have a new Angel in their midst, and those of us left on earth have a loving Guardian Angel watching over us. All of my love to you, Catherine

Our sympathy to Carlo, Carla and John and their families. Although Tom and I no longer live in Burlingame, we still remember our friends there. June was one of my first friends during the time John and Chris were St. Catherine's students. Then Carla and Kevin became friends, and during our bike store days, Carlo was an important part of the business training Ted and other mechanics and riders. June was always there for all of us with the coffee and goodies when we needed a break. We were married at the same time, miles apart, but celebrated 50 years in 2009. Thats when I last saw June - at St.Catherine's church with Carlo on their 50th anniversary. What a nice memory of a dear lady!

June was our sparkle of joy at Mercy Center. She loved the Sisters, staff and guests but most of all, she loved & cherished her family. Everyone who walked through the front door was greeted by June's smile. Not a week would go by without June bringing in a wonderful flower from her garden. We lovingly referred to June as "the Boss."

My sweetest memory...last spring 6 Mercy Center staff members went off campus for lunch. When June arrived, she sat down and gave each of us a bag of her homemade Easter bunny cookies. She always made everything special.

Rest in Peace, dear June.

To the entire Simonetti family, I cannot find the words to describe my sorrow of this most devastating loss of such a wonderful person. June was like a second mother to me-never without a smile that would illuminate an entire room, and a robust sense of humor that could make anyone's troubles melt away. She taught me to bake-and not be afraid of trying new things, and as with my own house, the door was always open-no matter what. I will forever relish the cherished memories of 'growing up' in the Simonetti home, and I know I am a richer person for having the good fortune to have known the angel, June.

June Simonetti will truly be missed. She consistenly made everyone feel at home - no matter what the circumstances. June always welcomed me with a warm smile and a big hug.. I will miss seeing her in Carla's kitchen with her family around her. She has left with me a desire to be a better person - an I don't think anyone could ask for a better legacy than that.

Thank you for your support and understanding June - I will miss you...

Junie was a big part of my life growing up in our family. She always cared, always visited, and was always available - no matter what was happening. I know now that June had the gift of mercy. She loved everyone deeply, and came alongside people in times of their greatest hurts without ever being asked. Junie somehow knew she was needed in someone's life; God gave her a wonderful gift of recognizing how to help, and she did.
I will miss her beyond measure in our family, and will remember her laughter, joy, her deep devotion to family, and her cookies!
Scripture tells us that when our life is over here, we enter into God's care each hoping to hear these words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." And so June, well done; well done God's good and faithful servant. You blessed us each with your life, and we'll always remember God's gift to us in you.

My mother was/is the strongest person I've known. I know this is true because no one tested her strength more than I did. Despite this, She taught me all the good stuff like kindness, compassion and acceptance which she modeled every day. I will forever miss our 7am phone calls, her big hello, her great meals, sage advice, her ready ear and the way she loved us all with her mighty heart.

Dear Carlo and family

To say that I am missing June so very miuch would be an understatement. She and I worked together on the front Desk of Mercy Center. She was always there for me, making sure I did not over-do work etc. She was there supporting me and my wife last year when our daughter died. She was such a lovely person and my dear friend. May God be with you all
