Laurel Pine Obituary

Laurel Pine
November 9, 1966 - February 22, 2023
Laurel passed away surrounded by love. She graced this earth with her compassion and acceptance for others, inclusion and humor, creativity and sparkle that was contagious to all who knew her. Laurel was a beautiful person, unique, independent, full of love and with a passion for fine living.
She is survived by her loving husband Mark Anderson, mother Jean Tinelli, father Bruce Pine and stepmother Wendy, her sister Cara Pine, adored niece Luna, and a devoted group of friends.
Laurel was born in Anaheim, CA, and she and Cara grew up in San Mateo where she made lifelong friends. She attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Sonoma State University. Laurel studied with and then worked for Context International, a life-changing program that profoundly inspired her and taught her leadership and relationship nuturing skills.
Laurel had a passion for gourmet foods which she turned into a successful business that brought her to Reno, NV where she met and married Mark. Along with her catering business, Laurel formed The Flavor Studio, where she and Mark presented memorable culinary gatherings and events, bringing diverse people together over the love of luxury foods, wine, and travel.
