Lorrie Lee Obituary

Lorrie Lee
March 25, 1950 - April 4, 2022
Lorrie Lee, 72 of Hayward, took her final breath on April 4 after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.
Lorrie grew up in San Francisco and spent most of her time at the Chinese Center developing her athleticism. After graduating from Galileo High School, she earned her teaching credential from Cal State Hayward and became a P.E. teacher at Sequoia High in Redwood City. When Lorrie was laid off from the job she loved, she found employment at PG&E and retired as a national account executive.
Lorrie enjoyed traveling, participating in fitness classes, following Bay Area sports teams, getting together with family and friends, and most importantly watching her grandson grow up.
Although Lorrie will be sorely missed, we are grateful that she is finally at peace. She is survived by her husband Del, daughter Tiffaney, son-in-law Chris, grandson Zander, brother Craig, niece Christina, stepson Darwin, his two children Ken and Allison, and stepdaughter Lorianne.
We request all of Lorrie's family and friends to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Shinn Historical Park in Fremont on May 21 anytime between 11-2. Dress in floral prints, brightly colored clothes, or sports attire. Remember, this is a celebration and no flowers are necessary.

Our families were very close oh-so many years ago. We would spend many days visiting on weekends. I will never forget when I was a pre-teen, teenager Lorrie taught me how to play solitaire, with a real deck of cards. She always had a smile that would light up a room. So sorry that I lost touch with the family as I grew older, but I have nothing but happy memories of those days. My condolences.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
Lorrie and I met at our Zumba class which we attended for 3 years together.
After Zumba class ended we continued to communicate, share our family stories, meet for lunch and exchange holiday greetings.
She was so excited waiting to welcome her grandson, Zander's birth. So happy she was able to spend time with him.
What a wonderful, caring and fun person! She will definitely be missed by many.
Hoping her love and warmth with bring much comfort to family as she rests in peace.

With Love,
Kay

Lorrie and I met each other by me doing her nails years ago. She instantly became one of my favorite customers. She had such a kind heart and invited me to family functions and celebrations. When I stopped doing nails she continued to keep in touch through social media and would ask how my kids were doing. One of the kindest souls I knew. May she Rest In Peace. Sending prayers and strength to the family!

My deepest condolences to the family for the passing of a wonderful mother and friend. If Lorrie had passed on such wonderful attributes to her daughter, Tiffaney, then I can surmise that Lorrie was a very thoughtful and caring person. She would go out of her way to help someone in need to succeed. She held high, reachable standards for the people she cared about. Sacrifice for the betterment of the whole was an attribute to be admired. She always tried to do her best no matter what position or situation confronted her and did not let little things discourage her.
Lorrie's legacy has been passed on to her children and will never be forgotten. May Lorrie find joy and peace in the loving arms of God.

I remember Lorrie was friendly in high school. She pump
into me at my place of work at Kaiser Hayward where I
worked as a hospital pharmacist. Met her again with
some of her lady friends for lunch in San Leandro several years ago. Catching up with our lives and living
in the East Bay. Will miss her smile and enthusiasm!
