Marilyn,
You were so full of grace and joy. Knowing you through the decades has been a gift to me.
But I know your friendship to my folks was the greater gift. Thank you for being in our lives. It was with pleasure I was able to call you a sister as well, through P.E.O.
You will be sorely missed.
Love,
Betsy (Sargent) & Art Fowler

Marilyn was such a wonderful member of P.E.O., opening her home to the group, and sharing her beautiful garden. We will miss Marilyn, and we shall have many fond memories.

I remember when I first heard about Aunty and her ability to bring the family together with a loving smile and bright mind. I was lucky enough to see that in my own eyes the last two times we travelled to the US. Aunty is an inspiration and she will be missed dearly. We love you all and wish we could be close at this time but we are always here to support from afar.

Growing up, Marilyn was my best friend's Mom! She was loving but stern when we acted up, and we did act up ;) Both our families went to St. Luke's Presbyterian Church on a regular basis. When teens, Betsy and I had a fun vacation to Kauai with both our families. I have happy memories of Pinecrest with Betsy and her Mom. It was always fun to visit her wonderful home and garden. She had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. RIP Marilyn!
