Just heard of Mike's passing. I guess you could simply say he was very good to people. His sense of humor and wit was compared to none. I have many fond memories of Mike. God Bless Him!

I just learned of Mike's passing to-day,Monday.I had heard he was ailing of late and passed the word on.It's still a great shock.Mike and I were roommates from about 40 years ago,before he bought into the Abbey.Mike thought enough of me to take the train from Ballylinan to Dublin to meet me when I was visiting my family.May he rest in peace.

To the family of Mike Rche... I am so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I was the waitress at the Abbey Tavern for a ciuple of years. Mike was great to work with. He had a great sense of humour and he was very generous. We had many a laugh after the bar closed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
