Nathaniel Pysher Obituary

Nathaniel Hall Pysher

4/10/1978 - 12/14/2013

Known to his friends as "Eirias", passed away unexpectedly on December 14.  Born in Hollywood, he lived in Oklahoma City and Salt Lake City before moving to the Bay Area in 2006.  He loved the natural wonders of the area, and especially the science of mycology.  Nathaniel was blessed with a brilliant creative mind, and a gentle empathetic soul.  His efforts utilizing harm reduction techniques saved over 30 lives.

Nathaniel leaves his loving partner of six years, Jessi Ross, his parents, Ted and Yanett Pysher, and his brothers, Jason and Alex, of Salt Lake City, relatives in the Pysher, Piaski, Hall, Ueno, and Regan-Ross-Chancellor families; and the many friends he has made over the years in the Bay Area.

In lieu of flowers, friends may wish to donate to the Oakland Harm Reduction Coalition via [email protected]; but most of all Eirias would like his friends to love one another more deeply.  Condolences can be sent to the families at http://oakland.chapelofthechimes.com/obituaries/Nathaniel-Pysher/

Dear Yanett and Ted,

I'm so very sorry to hear about Nate. He meant so much to me and was such a great friend in middle school and 10th grade. I've missed him ever since the day he left our school. I remember laughing so hard with him and passing ridiculous notes all through classes, especially English and biology. :) He was so very special and I'm happy to see he put that genius mind of his to such a worthy cause.

Peace and love to all of you from the bottom of my heart.
