Annemie and I will miss Rob as our friend and "insurance guy" for the last 30 years. I knew Rob since High School since we traveled in the same circle of friends and always enjoyed running into him. I always looked forward to the insurance checkup because it ment getting caught up with Rob and mutual friends, he was always bright, cheerful and a pleasue to be with. I admire the brave fight he fought with his illness and we will sincerely miss him.

My wife and I are truly saddened to hear of Rob's death. For as long as we can remember he was our insurance agent, and was always the most personable and pleasant person to work with we could imagine. It was always a pleasure to meet him either in the office or on the street. We will miss him

Dear Tracy, We received the letter recently about Rob's passing. As you know we knew and respected Rob as a friend and as our insurance agent for many years--- we've known him since he first began with State Farm--- 27 years! He advised us on so many issues--- and so did you! Please know how grateful we are to have known your wonderful husband and how saddened we are at his passing. We will remember his tremendous courage in the face of his illness and his deep concern and devotion to you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We just learned of Rob's passing yesterday and are shocked and saddened. Rob was our insurance agent for nearly twenty years and always provided us with truly personal service. He gave us pragmatic advice and took special interest in understanding our needs. Even though we only saw him every year or so, he would recognize us in a local restaurant and catch up on mutual friends. We feel we've lost a friend and will truly miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time

Tracy, We just got the sad news last night. We first met Rob when we moved back to California from the East Coast. He was recommended as a terrific insurance agent. But he was also a great husband and dad, as we'd come to see whenever we'd review our insurance needs. Twenty years later, we continue to have Rob as our State Farm agent because we always felt it was more friendship than business. Brett was in the same class as Grace, our daughter, and we'd exchange news about what was up with the kids. I know through Rob that Brett loved to golf, a chip off the old block. And he was so proud of his children.
He contributed a lot to the community of San Carlos.
We now live in RI but maintain a rental home in San Carlos, stopping to see Rob at the office if time allowed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family,
Arlene and Ramon Garcia, Barrington, RI

Rob was our insurance agent from nearly the beginning of his career with State Farm. Although we only knew him through that association, he was truly like a long time friend. We'd see or talk to him every couple of years and have great, fun talks about our growing families, mutual friends, sports, coaching, etc. etc. -- and he was always on top of our insurance needs as well! We are so sad to learn of his passing, and we send our deepest sympathy and prayers to his wife, children and family for your great loss.

Tracy, Rachel, Megan, Brett and Family, please accept our most sincere condolences. Rob will truly be missed, he touched so many people's lives and made them feel special & important. I met Rob shortly after graduating college, playing hoops at PCC (he was a fierce competitor and got after it!) as well as working for him @ State Farm for a few months:) It was during that short time I was able to see what a good man was all about; he was a man of integrity, loyal, a great friend to many as well as a loving & dedicated husband and father. He had a big influence on me then and continued to as we stayed in touch over the past 20+years. I know I share this with many when I say that anytime Rob's name came up in conversation, the sincere words "HE'S A GREAT GUY" was followed with a smile and a story to to back it up. We are all so blessed to have had Rob in our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during these times.

Much love to all of you and God Bless,

Glenn

Robby I miss you already even though we did not stay in touch as we did so many years ago I sit here in Frankfurt looking at your picture knowing you are with us all. It is that never ending ROBBY SMILE that gets us. It does now as it did when we were 14. I am so sorry I could not be there last night and today but know I was with you in prayer. I had Fr. Jack say a mass for you yesterday.
Tracy, you can count your friends on one hand and let me tell you Robby has a lot of hands. When Rena and I were married 32 years ago in Kinston, North Carolina 3000 miles from California guess who got in his VW and drove to NC - Robby -- that is a friend as we all know him. Read the other messages they are all saying the same thing -- what a honorable loving husband, father, friend and kind man Robby was to all. He lived life full "always" he is now with our keeper, our LORD JESUS CHRIST, in God's name may he rest in peace. AMEN
May our Lord's blessings be with you and your family in these trying times.
God Bless
Mark

Tracy,
I wish I could be there to give you hugs. Of course Mark was alerted as he travels somewhere on the other side of the globe. We are sorry to miss the funeral but we are there in spirit.
There was not a finer gentleman than Robbie. When I was introduced to Mark's California buddies (way back then) I immediately spotted Robbie as "one of the good guys". He was a joy to be around and I loved it when we had a chance to get together.
Robbie had a well lived life and he leaves behind treasures of memories. May those treasures bring you comfort.
As you remember the love, as you morn the loss, may you also celebrate the life.
Thinking of you with God's grace,
Rena

Rob was an associate, an agent with State Farm Ins as I was; I was more senior. I remember when he began - he took off running and was the success.
I'm so very sorry tht Rob, Tracy their children and immediate families have had to travel this journey.. it just seems so unfair. A great man, a great husband and father, and I know a great insurance agent; one of the best representing State Farm.
Our thoughts these many weeks have been, day and night for Rob, Tracy and their children.
Well Rob... you truly showed what courage is about, as well as Tracy. Hopefully all who knew you, whether that be personally or an associate, can take that forward, by your example and apply it as an extension to others.Pat and I have Tracy and your children in our thoughts. Rob.. you have joined the ranks in the next plane of life as the many great State Farm agents you have joined... we'll all be back one day together to join you. Another light in the stars of a wonderful person shining down on us.

We am very saddened by the loss Rob. Our sincere condolences to the enitre family.
I first met Rob when I was 6 years old. That would be 1st grade at St Catherine's Grammer School in 1960. He was Robby not Rob. Occasionally we would hear a "ROBERT" or a "MR. MACLEOD" from one of the Nuns, but he was always Robby to us.
As you could imagine, there are many interesting stories of growing up together at St Catherines but one really stayed with me. It was the the time we were hanging around together after school in his backyard and went into the house to get a snack. Usually kids like us would just search out the cookies, chips etc. but Robby told me to sit at the kitchen table because his mom was preparing something. I thought that was rather unusual because that was certainly not how it worked at my house. Moments later bowls of sliced bananas in milk appeared in front of us. At first I didn't know what to think. I've never seen just a sliced bannana in milk. Did she forget the cereal? I casually glanced over at Robby who was having at it. I figured that was it and started on it myself. I thoroughly enjoyed it then and now. I have bananas in milk quite often and I think of Robby every time.
You will really be missed Robby.

Rob was truly a great friend, husband, and father. He will be missed by all who knew him, we sure will. Rob was always the life of the party. Every time he was knocked down over the past few years he got up to fight some more and was always a positive guy who never complained about all the hell he went through. Our family sends our deepest condolences to you. The Bushner's
