Robert "Bob" Thomas Rogers, passed away, Monday, July 7, 2025, from Parkinson's Disease. He was born June 11, 1942, to the late John and Annine (Boone) Rogers, graduated from Trinity High School in 1960, attended Bellarmine College, and was a KY Air National Guardsman. Bob grew up in Louisville before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area (Oakland) in 1971, and began an illustrious career as an Interior Designer. He earned his American Society of Interior Designers Certificate and was published in Designers West Magazine. He was named Top 5 Bay Area Designers, and traveled the world working with clients who dearly loved him. He enjoyed dancing at The Fairmont Hotel, sipping a good scotch, and traveling to beaches around the world. Bob was also a member of Highlands Country Club in Oakland, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Rogers; and his parents. He is survived by his brother, J. Kenneth Rogers, La Grange, KY; sisters, Shirley Minton (Jim), Murray, KY, Mary Lou Steeb (John), Carmel, IN, and Jane Naber (Buddy), Prospect, KY; nine nephews; two nieces; fourteen great-nephews and great-nieces; and dear friend and travel companion, Wanda Huber, Pompano Beach, FL. His family wishes to thank Andrew and Olivia for the care they gave him while living in Oakland, CA, The Springs at Oldham Reserve for taking such gentle, kind and loving care at his death, especially his nurses, Stephanie and Grace, Ashley with Hosparus, and private caregiver, Connie Hasken. A memorial visitation will be held starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2025, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 6500 St Bernadette Ave., Prospect, KY 40059 with a memorial Mass to follow at 11 a.m. A live stream of Bob's Memorial Mass can be viewed at https://stb2008.org/media?
