Thomas Boland, 48, of Oakland, CA, died Sept. 11, 2024. He is survived by his beloved daughter Danika, his parents James (Jean) Boland and Elizabeth (Mark) apHugh, Kim Royse, sisters Gretchen, Siobhan, Kate and Isabella, former wife Mindy Newfarmer, niece Isis, nephew Donovan, and his Belgian Malinois Pixie. He was predeceased by his brother Brian.
Tom, who was born in Chicago, moved with his family to San Francisco in 1978. He could turn his hand to just about any skill, from butchering to home remodeling. Most recently he enjoyed working as a stage hand in the San Francisco theater district.
Family and friends will miss him, his great humor, and his cooking skills. A Celebration of Life will be held Nov. 9; please contact the family for details. Contributions to honor Tom's memory may be made to Danika's college fund at Fidelity Investments at https://shorturl.at/vSf5i

Eureka Valley Playground!
Chenery Street.
Halloweens on Castro.
Hella dog walks around the city!
