I am a teacher at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. We receive notices of former graduates who have passed. I did not know Mr. Jordan, but to honor our former students, I read every obituary. What an amazing and spirited life he has lead. He was a lucky man to have experienced so much and with such integrity. He truly valued the life with which God blessed him. Thank you. ~JD

Tom, was a good friend and an angel sent from heaven for Instituto Fe y Vida (Institute for Faith and Life) and its ministry with Latino young Catholics. He accompanied us and advised us with great wisdom, love and warmth.
Thanks to Tom, we were able to obtain major funding for a very successful bible project for young Latinos across the Americas, and to dream other large projects. Tom was a class act, he stayed part of our lives and our ministry many years after our professional relationship ended, we always looked forward to his catching up calls over the years. He was a vital, loving, and productive man who will forever live in our hearts and ministry!!
We will miss you Tom, may you rest in peace; thanks for everything you gave us and shared with us.

Tom was a wonderful neighbor and fine man. He was a courtly gentleman in a manner rarely seen today. He will be missed. RIP, Tom.

Dear Mary Ann, Danny, Cecily, Sean and all of your families,
I am grateful that I and my family have had the joy of our long relationship with Tom, your mother, Rosemary and your whole wonderful family. No words can express the depth of loss I feel.
On a lighter side, and Tom always preferred the lighter side, he never failed to remind me how diligent he was in carrying out his duties as my godfather (becoming so when we were both in our forties). Fortunately, he deemed the mutual enjoyment of the pleasures of life, including in our younger years the good martinis he constructed, to be an important part of those duties. And consistent with that approach to life, and to death, as my farewell I repeat the words Tom had inscribed on the ceremonial mug he presented to me as my baptismal gift: May we merrily meet in heaven.

The Connors are sad to hear of Mr. Jordan's passing. But I'm sure Tom and Bo are happy to be reunited, reminiscing about their lifelong shenanigans and raising a pint, of Guinness no less.
