So sorry about Vinnie's death. Just found out this morning. last time I talked to him was him telling me about a friend's grandson going to Linfield, where my daughter was attending. Memories of giving him a SI with photo of him on USF team, in 2007. Mimi was my parents bridesmaid. Always enjoyed receiving emails from Vinnie.

A steadying influence, a great e-mail partner on military things and former Drake colleagues. He was our son's counselor-we appreciated that.
Rest easy.

Condolences to all who were enriched by knowing this inspiring man.
Coach Boyle led his Drake B Basketball team to a league championship and undefeated season 1960-61.
It had such a lasting impact on his team who would lunch with him every January with John McBride, Mark Boero, Curt Jensen, Bruce Ketron, John McBride, Harley Miller joined this past January by Donna Mann Sousa & Alice Della Santino when coach was facing surgery and could not join us at San Rafael Joes.

Vince Boyle was a wonderful man with a big personality - people were always happy to see him. We were all grateful and lucky to have his bright light at Drake High School. He was friendly, funny, smart, engaging - and earned immediate respect from students. Such a sweet man, I was ecstatic to chat with him on Facebook recently.
My sincere condolences to his family for this painful loss.

My condolences to the family. I remember Vincent Boyle as a wonderful, caring father to my childhood friends. I grew up by the Boyle family and had wonderful times at their home as a child.
Those were good times. So sorry for your loss .

Deepest condolences to Vinnie's family. What a great man he was! I am so thankful to him for devoting his time to God. His devotion helped others to open doors to paths of righteousness. I am especially grateful for his presence on several prayer teams I led. His participation was strong; his encouragement ever present. Surely he is welcomed in Heaven! Godspeed Vinnie!

Mr. Boyle was an admirable man and very well liked at Drake. Furthermore, he didnt take enough credit for being an inspirational English teacher. His style was calm but fascinating. All of us in his sophomore course got literature probably got the first time due to his lectures. I think we all felt that.

My favorite person, teacher, counselor from my memories at Drake in the 60's. Always a gentlemen and friend to hundreds of students. I would run into Mr. Boyle at funerals and Mass at St Anselm's through the years. RIP Mr Boyle
