Vincent recently passed quietly at home in the presence of his loving family after battling cancer. Vince was the second of two sons born to John and Ethel Unsinn in San Francisco. He grew up with his older brother John (Jack) on Broderick St. near the Panhandle, attended Sacred Heart Grammar School, and was the quintessential City kid. In his teens, the family moved to a new home in the Sunset and Vince attended St. Ignatius High School (Class of '46) where he was a member of the school's first 1945 championship football team. He went on to City College of San Francisco and then USF. He always took pride in being a conservative 3rd generation San Franciscan.

Dearest Cousins Irene, Dick, Diane & Peter,
My heart is heavy with the news of Cousin Vince's passing. May you know my family has you in their prayers at this time. Vince is having Manhattans at the gates of Heaven as our ancestors greet him and awaits when it our time to join in celebration of eternal life. God Bless you all and will see you with Tom at his celebration of life.

love and miss you my sweet Vince. How will life be the same for us mortals remaining on earth without you? An important figure at every celebrated event. Take your rest now and have a cocktail and watch endless SF Forty Niner's Games. No worries, we will watch and love your family.
PS: what a great husband, father, grandpa and friend.
