Denis Bock Obituary
AGE: 46 • Phillipsburg
Denis Eric Bock, 46, of Phillipsburg, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday September 10, 2014. He was born and raised in North Plainfield, New Jersey and was a 1986 graduate of North Plainfield High School and a 1991 graduate of Rutgers university. Denis was a finical planner at Merrill Lynch then moved on to expanding his own business, at Capital Asset Advisory Services LLC. He was a former treasurer of the Huntington fire department, an avid fisherman, hunter and a fierce animal lover.
Denis's storytelling and laughter were two of his greatest gifts. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is predeceased by his loving parents Donald and Doris, he is survived by his sister Dorinda of North Plainfield, brother Donald (Sherry) of North Plainfield, nieces Kaycee and Kelsey and many aunts uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his two loving companions Mr. Jaxon and Blake.
A visitation will be held from 2-6 pm on Sunday September 14, 2014 at Higgins Home for Funeral 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ. Funeral service will begin at 9:00 am on Monday at the funeral home followed a 10 am Mass of the Resurrection at St. Luke's RC Church in North Plainfield. The interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Warren Animal Hospital and Shelter, 793 Uniontown Rd., Phillipsburg, NJ 08865, (908) 859-0702.
