Dear Ebiner family,
I heard from my mother, Pauline O'Neill, that Paula had died and I wanted just to touch bases with you. I was in Larry's class at St Martha's and then Bishop Amat and also knew and enjoyed hanging out with John and Maire. Paula used to give my brother Mark and me rides to school all the time - I think we did a car pool thing for years only my folks didn't have a car so Paula was always willing to let us ride along. Paula is one of those adults I remember from childhood - amazingly cheerful , amazingly upbeat - always welcoming. Even as a kid, I had a great deal of respect for her and, now as a parent (of only two!) and a public school guidance counselor, I am in awe of what she and Bob created. My thoughts are with you at this time and I just want you to know she is remembered fondly by even kids who knew her way back when.

Brian,
Sorry for the loss of your mother. I wanted to jump up out of my seat when I saw how hurt you were as you and your brothers and sisters gathered around your mom to sing her favorite song. It's been so long since we last spoke and I want you and your family to know that you are one awesome family.
Be well and take care.

The Ebiner family is large and open-hearted, outwardly giving, and that could only come from a mom and dad who model it. At Paula's son Matt and Suzan's wedding, I sat behind the Ebiner brothers, all in a row, and felt like I was in the family, too. Matt has been a brother to me for >25 years, and I have always felt close to you all, as God is our "Dad." Thanks for including me in these events of celebrating your mom's life, and her transcendant journey into the beyond, "where there are no more tears and pain." Love, Melanie Renfrew

To the entire Ebiner Family ~
I am saddened by your loss. Though I never had the opportunity to met Paula ( or most of you ) for that matter; I do recall Theresa sharing many fun-filled and loving stories about the family while working with her back in the '80's.
I'm sure your strength in God will carry you through your time of grief.

Although I only met Mrs. Ebiner once at Brian and Enid's wedding in Puerto Rico I could tell that she was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. I know she will be greatly missed by the entire family. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.
