Well Mom, it has been a year today since we said goodbye to you. It still surprise me how often I think of calling you...only to remember that I cannot. My most precious memories of you are still strong, though! I hold onto those fast, Mom! I love and miss you today, as every day.

Mom, another new year begins today. And I am missing hearing your voice again. I know that you are with our Lord.... sharing a joyful, full and timeless life in heaven with dad and others you love that have gone on to that wonderful place. You are missed so much down here....that's all I can say today. I love you and thank you once again for the powerful force you were, and still are, in our family. Thanks for being such a wonderful mother.

Mom, I miss you and think of you often. Every now and then I want to call you before I realize that is no longer possible. So sad that I will never hear that wonderful voice telling me you love me...at least this side of heaven.

Missing you everyday mom

October 13, 2013

Mom, I am missing you so much every day. I remember your lovely smile and quick wit that was sometimes so unexpected it made me laugh until I cried. I miss your simple wisdom that was always shared with love and care. If I can be half the woman you were I will consider myself blessed indeed! I love you, Mom.
