My thoughts have been with the Salm family for quite sometime now. I graduated with Ken from Kiel as well as neighbors in Newton. I remember his most contagious laugh. He will be missed and I have had a few good laughs thinking of the times we all spent together after we graduated. Deepest Sympathy to Vicky and the boys.

Vicki, My heart aches for you & your boys. It's been years but I will never forget Kenny's sense of humor and contagious smile! You two were perfect together & I know he will forever live on in your heart as it is apparent how much you have loved him & always will. I went to school with Kenny at Roncalli. I remember him as being a funny, easy-going guy and just a genuine person. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

I remember the day of our 1st freshman football practice in Aug of 1986, I asked Ken if he was related to any Salms from the Potter area..he said "not sure, but we go to Gruett's" (he pronounced it ::grew-etts::) I started laughing and said: Ken it's pronounced ::grits:: he preceded to argue with me about for a few weeks.. I think until the next time his family went there to pick up parts for the farm.
Kenny, we had some great times..I don't remember the last time I saw you :( however may your journey, to wherever we go afterwards, be wonderful!

I worked in HR at Polar Ware for 11 years and knew Ken from There. He was always nice to us and will be missed. RIP Ken!

My deepest sympathy to the Salm family. I remember Kenny as a great person when he was in the 7-8th grade classroom at St. Isidore School, Osman. He was my student in that classroom. May God give you comfort and strength in this time of grieving.

I am a cousin of Kenny's and remember all the good times playing around at picnics and family gatherings. He was a very special person. I am sure he would like all of us to remember the good times together. My deepest condolences to the family.

I too remember Ken from my days at St. Isidore. Some of my best memories are of visits with students and staff. God rest Ken and comfort his family. Fr. Lee Kahrs.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Kenny's passing. We graduated from Kiel HS together and some of my fondest memories include Kenny. He was a good friend, great choir partner and one of the most genuine people I ever met. As you grieve, find comfort in knowing that you are honoring him with every memory and that he still lives within your hearts and through his three sons. You have my deepest sympathy.

Kenny and his family were great neighbors for the time we lived next door to them. He always made us feel at home when we visited the family and we loved all the boys. Vicki, you and the boys have our deepest sympathy for your loss. They say only time heals such grief as this.

I knew Kenny from Roncalli High School. I still remember the first day we met in class. We were all nervous just meeting everyone, but there was Kenny cracking jokes, making everyone laugh. He was a great guy. I will truly miss him. My heart goes out to his family.
