Randall G. Pfrang

Manitowoc - Randall G. Pfrang, age 67, a Manitowoc resident, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on November 7, 1951, in Wauwatosa. Randy was a graduate of Elkhart Lake High School with the class of 1970. On December 12, 1970 he married Judith Kirchner at Community United Church of Christ, Elkhart Lake. Randy was the owner of Lakeshore Insurance Solutions in Two Rivers from 1977 until his health recently prevented him from coming to the office. He loved fishing as well as running and raising Beagles. Randy had two field champion dogs: Barbie and Danny. He also enjoyed gardening and cutting grass on his John Deere tractor. Randy loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years: Judith Pfrang, Manitowoc; a daughter: Amy Pfrang, and son: Scott Pfrang, both of Manitowoc; his brother: Rodney Pfrang, Elkhart Lake; mother-in-law: Rogene Kirchner, Sheboygan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Kenneth L. (Ellen) Kirchner, Milwaukee, Debbie Houwers, Larry Kirchner, both of Sheboygan, Steven (Amy) Kirchner, Plymouth and Atty Barbara (Kurt Knocke) Kirchner, Sheboygan. Nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Kenneth C. Kirchner and an infant sister-in-law: Mary Jo Kirchner.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4105 Michigan Ave. Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Bishop James Oesterie with sermon by Brother Kurt Carlson. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Thursday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM. Memorials may be made in Randy's memory to Ascend Services, formerly Holiday House, 2818 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc or Camp Evergreen, 2776 N 31st Place, Sheboygan, WI 53083.

The family would like to thank Holy Family Memorial Cancer Center and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for all of the love and compassion given to Randy and his family.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
