Kelli Bowling Obituary
SHELBY-Kelli M. Bowling, 31, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2017. A native of Cleveland County, she is the daughter of Benny and Lynn Anthony Bowling of Shelby. She was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Trent Bowling.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Avah Cheek and Elli Kay Bowling, both of Shelby; brother, B.J. Bowling and Katie of Gaffney; and nephew, Turner Bowling.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m., Friday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Keith Dixon.
Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the funeral home to help with the unexpected expense.

To Kelli's family I am so sorry for your loss I know that she is going to be missed more than anyone could ever and just make sure her kids knew that their mommy loved them so much. Always hang on to the memories you have and live everyday like it could be your last. Nobody is guaranteed tomorrow!!!!! Oh KB, this feels like a bad dream but unfortunately I know it's not. I am so glad that we were able to meet each other and become so close. We had some great times together defiantly unforgettable. Heaven has a new angel now so spread your wings and soar girl, I will miss you daily but we will meet again one day. Love always, Mandy Smith

I have fond memories of Kelli throughout mine & my sister's childhood growing up..
Stealing my Capri Sun & blowing air back in the pack so I wouldn't notice then busting out in that contagious laugh she had..
Holding her own as the only girl playing football with the boys..
Dancing up a sweat at "The Attic" in Myrtle Beach..
She was a joyful girl with beautiful eyes & a special smile that will live on through her girls.. Praying for this already strong family.. RIP Kelli..
