I knew Margot through Jim. What a fun lady. I missed her after she moved to be with all her girls.

Margot was a very good friend of ours and we missed her after she moved to River Falls. To me, she was a great inspiration with her unique ideas and constant encouragement for young women and students. Margot had a natural, unique gift to make people of all origins and cultures welcomed and was very generous and supportive. She was a great hostess and hosted many parties for different occasions from Christmas/New Year's party for large groups of international students to smaller family parties, or to welcome women of different origins...
She was generous-spirited, talented, inspiring, and a great friend.
She loved the arts, opened her house in Platteville for the Tour of Historic Homes, and on many other occasions.
She will always live in those shared memories for me.

Everytime we would go into Ludington which was a big deal back then, Dad would head to the Danish bakery. He would come out with a Danish for each of us and then he would park so we could see the car ferries or Lake Michigan. Thanks for the Great Memories.

I didn't get to know your mom but the times I saw her I could tell she was a cool lady. Her name makes me think of the glamorous actresses from the 30's. From, Heather
