I have many fond memories of working with Mrs. Harris in the Orthopaedic Clinic during my residency. She was a tough taskmaster who cared about the staff and the patients as though they were family. She will be missed by all.

To Linda and the Family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Earnestine Harris. I worked with Earnestine on 6KE Telemetry back in the early 90's. She was a very good Nurse and Teacher. She loved to gather young nurses under her wings to teach them and show them the ropes. She was respected by all that worked with her, including the Doctors. She would give them an ear full if they didn't do what they was suppose to do. God has called her home to rest from her labor. Be encouraged family, knowing to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May God Bless and Keep you, is my Prayer. My heart is so full, God called one of his warriors my friend home to be with him. Earnestine was a remarkable person and one of the hardest working nurses I know. She and I travel to Grambling State University together, and worked many years together. My heart and prayers are with the family. RIP, Earnestine.
