Gavin Brown Obituary
BENTON, LA - Services for Gavin Omar Brown, 3, will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Rose-Neath' s Bossier Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Gavin was born June 11, 2008 and passed away suddenly May 9, 2012.
Gavin is survived by his parents, Holly K. Brown and Demonza Williams, grandparents, Dixie and Bob Callahan, Teddy and Libby Brown, Beverly Durham, Carl and Laura Jones; great grandparents, T.A. "Bubba" and Betty Beauregard, Gladys and Robert Smith, Mary Jones; sisters, Carolena Palomo, Carmen Brown; brother, Carter Brown and numerous aunts, uncles and friends.
Gavin loved the outdoors, toy guns, tractors, fire trucks, hunting with his Papaw and his loyal dog, Tater.
An account has been established at the First National Bank of Benton, account number 1128353, in Gavin's name to help with expenses.

Dixie, Bob and family....I cannot even imagine the pain everyone is going through with the loss of Gavin. However, God will give you the strength to continue on. Gavin was a very special little boy with a ton of personality and even though he is no longer here his memories will be with you forever. I have no doubt he is showing other little angels in heaven how to fish and climb trees. He is also running, laughing, playing and I am also sure he is looking after Clyde and Curley for me. PS: Just wanted to check the weather down there for Gavin's service and noticed a red heart on the weather satellite image under your state. Surely the message here is that love NEVER dies.

I never got to meet Gavin, but feel as if I knew him through Dixie. She was so proud of that little man. All children are blessing from God. He decides how long they get to stay, but the world was a better place for having Gavin in it. You can just see it in his smile. May God place his hand on your shoulder and help comfort you in the days ahead as you grieve.
